BUILT TO ADAPT

The original capability outlived its original container.

Acute Incite began in 2018 with a practical belief: organizations produce better, more sustainable results when people can collaborate intentionally, learn from what is happening and adapt before the world has already moved on.

That work began in complex federal and international-development systems. Our teams helped institutions make knowledge usable, bring different perspectives into the same room and turn learning into a different next move. Not another report. A stronger capacity to respond.

Then the system that had shaped much of Acute Incite’s market changed with extraordinary speed. We had to practice what the firm had spent years helping others do.

We went back to first principles. We examined what remained valuable without the familiar funding structure, what had become unfit for purpose and what organizations everywhere were now being asked to navigate.

What remained was the core capability: helping people see the real system, learn together and build a practical response that can survive contact with reality.

Today, Eric and Krystal Friesth steward that next chapter. Acute Incite applies its foundation in collaboration, organizational learning and adaptive management to the systems organizations are trying to reimagine now: operating models, decision rights, institutional knowledge, workforce capability and responsible AI adoption.

It is some (dis)assembly required: relentlessly optimistic, ruthlessly practical and willing to rebuild what has traditionally held good people back.
